postcard front

This is the front of my postcard I am sending to children's book and magazine publishers. I'm hoping to send it in early this week to the printers (http://www.psprint.com/postcards) I'd appreciate any comments/tips/feedback if you have the time!

Really cute Joy! The only thing I would suggest is making the contrast between the dog and grass a little higher. She seems to get lost a little and not pop right away. That's something you want in a quick glance postcard, I would assume.

Hi Joy! I think the card all in all is lovely! I just have two little things i would change. Don't know wheather this is ok for you for me to criticise you, but hope you don't mind. First thing is the writing on the front. I wouldn't put it in the middle of the illu, find this somehow distracting. I would rather put in somewhere below the image. Second tiny thing is the cord. Probably stupid of me, but as it is supposed to connect the front to the bact (well thats what i see in it) i would make it go out the same position it comes in in the back. But honestly, don't know if this is appropriate for me to say, as you are a really great artist and i love your stuff! If i got you wrong and you didn't ask for any feedback, just delete this post and forget about it.

Hi Joy,
I really love your postcard concept and execution in general. I have to admit, I was a little chicken about giving feedback & waited to see what other people said. Now that's been done, I have to say I agree with the first comment (Valerie); that's exactly what I saw at first glance. I want that cute doggie to pop more! Just needs a little more contrast with the grass. Hope that helps and good luck.
