brave

In the closet or under the bed? I started one with a monster under the bed but this image came more to the forefront of my mind. Little girl= brave, Mini Dachshund= not. I guess her monster isn't too scary looking though... Thanks for any comments!

This one is very fun. I like that the girl is not afraid at all. Poor little dachshund. Love it.

haha! so cute! love all the softie toys and the drawing of the monster.

this reminds me of some of the inspirational paintings for Monsers, Inc. Have you ever taken a look at that book? I wish I had bought it years ago.

Super-cute. As usual, I love your sense of color. It's really retro and fresh at the same time. And, of course, I LOVE the character design.

I really love the sense of drama of the open door with a monster and how the light is shining on him. The coloration is super cool, the darkness versus light. I think the the door line should be lower with the floor shorter to lead you in more. But what do I know, I'm not an artist?? I super love the polka dot carpet and the subtle shading differences how its worn in some areas - how the heck did you do that??? Love the books on the table and the drawing on the wall! OMGosh your drawings are looking better and better every time! LOOOVE your new style!!

I like the detail of the scared dachshund hiding behind the girl. And that grin on the monster's face is fantastic :)
