IF- Rescue

When I read the IF topic for this week, this little girl popped into my head. A scene of pure joy for both dog and child at finding one another... Thanks for stopping by and for any comments!

Subterranean

I had lots of fun with this one. I also included a willow tree in memory of all the willow trees that where cut down around our local lake, to extend the BART train tracks. So sad, but I guess that's "progress" for ya... Thanks for any comments and for stopping by!!

In the closet or under the bed? I started one with a monster under the bed but this image came more to the forefront of my mind. Little girl= brave, Mini Dachshund= not. I guess her monster isn't too scary looking though... Thanks for any comments!

To propagate her garden, her little Doxie helped dig the holes. This one had a lot of layers in Photoshop, oh boy... Thanks for any comments and have a great week!!

Adrift

So, I pushed myself a bit this time. Believe it or not, as far as backgrounds go, this was one I spent time on. Usually I like to just focus on the characters. I'm going to try and do more backgrounds in my illustrations from now on. Thanks for any comments!

I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and create my Valentine's Day card as well. I suppose it's still a couple of weeks away, but ...eh. I love the art of Mary Blair and decided to do this weeks topic in a similar style. I hope you like it!
